Bridging Ceremony @ Paramount Park.
Bridging is a traditional girl scout celebration to recognize girls who are moving up to the next girl scout level. We would appreciate attendance of all the scouts at this event and their families. All scouts, even those not bridging, have important roles in the ceremony and we will have badge and goodie bags for everyone!
This year, the following movement is taking place:
- Current 5th Graders: Moving from Juniors to Cadettes
- Current 3rd Graders: Moving from Brownies to Juniors
- Current 1st Graders: Moving from Daisies to Brownies
All kids moving up to the next level at the Bridging ceremony this year will need their new uniform ahead of the ceremony so I’m giving everyone a LONG lead so they can aim at free shipping promos offered by the online Girl Scout Shop or navigate the weird hours of the Everett in-person store with lots of time to plan. A list of basic uniform needs by level can be found here.
As always, the units will remain intact, so our youngest unit will become a 1st & 2nd grade unit for the 2026/27 school year composed of both Daisies & Brownies (the “Daisies” will need to find their unit name because we can’t call them “Daisies” next year) and so on.
